Brownsburg hosts spring job fair - The Hendricks County Flyer

BROWNSBURG — The Town of Brownsburg hosted its second job fair Wednesday afternoon at town hall. About 65 people attended with 14 area businesses looking to hire, up four from the November job fair. There was even a waiting list for businesses, but town officials didn't want to push the limits of the room to the point that it would be overcrowded. "It's a partnership between the town and the businesses here to show them that the town is very interested in their business, helping them grow their business and expand their business here in the community," Greg Anderson, economic development director, said. There were six new businesses that were part of the town's second job fair. Suzie Stalcup, assistant vice-president of human resources at Hendricks County Bank, said it was nice that the businesses could participate at no cost to them. By the end of the job fair, she collected about half a dozen resumes for teller posit

In her job fair preparation classes, Hill teaches job seekers to imagine the fair from a recruiter's viewpoint. Asking a well-researched and authentic question can make an individual stand out among the crowd and provide additional information. How do you ask know w
