Parkersburg News and Sentinel Fall Job Fair scheduled for Friday - Parkersburg News

PARKERSBURG — The Fall Job Fair organized and sponsored by The Parkersburg News and Sentinel will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna.

More than 30 companies in the region will participate and accept applications while two, ThermoFisher Scientific and Quanex Building Products, will conduct interviews at the Job Fair.

"We wanted to help employers find candidates, especially for those hard to fill positions, and help job seekers find jobs," said organizer Mary Jo Miller. "People should bring an updated resume. Quanex Building Products and Thermo Fisher Scientific will be conducting interviews during the Job Fair. Applicants will have the chance to talk to a wide range of employers, submit resumes and network with others in attendance."

First-time participants are ThermoFisher, Dupont/Chemours, International Converter, Hino Motors, Manpower, IC Staffing, Greylock Energy and Banker's Life.
