Job fair coming up in Stanardsville - The Charlottesville Newsplex

GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- For people thinking of starting the new year with a new career or job, there's a job fair coming up in Greene County.

The Piedmont Workforce Network will host the fair on Jan. 5 the Piedmont Virginia Community College's Eugene Giuseppe Center in Stanardsville.

Several companies will have representatives at the fair, including Hershey, LaborMax Staffing, Lowe's, Invista, the U.S. Postal Service, RMC Events and RooterMan Plumbers among others.

Attendees are urged to dress to interview and bring copies of their resume.

The job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A selection of the 75 companies hoping to hire workers at a job fair on Tuesday, April 12.  Companies ranging from food service to hospitals to the U.S. Military are hoping to hire workers at a job fair on Tuesday.
