Culpeper church sponsors job fair for active seniors - Fredericksburg.com

Reformation Lutheran Church in Culpeper recently hosted its inaugural Active Senior Job Fair.

Many different employers turned out to recruit for diverse types of positions: full- and part-time jobs, retail, housekeeping/custodial, skilled in-home care, home companion, road maintenance, tax preparation, just to name a few.  

Nearly 100 potential employees attended with resumes in hand. In fact, there was such a positive response, that two recruiting employers ran out of applications and had to make more copies.  

Pastor Brad Hales and Ingrid Gormly, leader of senior ministry at Reformation Lutheran, were so pleased by the outcome that they are already planning another senior job fair for March.
