Job fair for veterans slated for Nov. 10 - Gwinnettdailypost.com

About 30 employers will participate in the Veterans Services Job Fair event, which is open to all job seekers, in Lawrenceville on Nov. 10.

The Georgia Department of Labor and Gwinnett Technical College will sponsor the event, which will take place in Building 700 at Gwinnett Tech, 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway.

Veterans will be admitted at 11:30 a.m., and all other job seekers can enter at noon. The job fair will run until 3 p.m., and labor department staff will be available for assistance.

Recruiting employers will include Areas, Caterpillar, Charter Communications, Chatcomm 911, Cobb County Public Safety, Coca-Cola, Daimler of Buford, DeKalb County Police Department, Disabled American Veterans, Embassy Suites, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), FedEx Ground, Global Concessions, Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Georgia Army National Guard, Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia Department of Public Safety, Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services, Gwinnett County Police Department, Gwinnett County Schools, Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, Hall County Sheriff's Office, KGP Logistics, Penske, Speedway, U.S. Navy, U.S. Auto Sales and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
