Job Fair on Wednesday - The Newark Advocate
NEWARK -- The United Way of Licking County is collaborating with local businesses, organizations, government, and the faith-based community to provide jobs and healthy lunches for those striving to improve their lives.
A bus is currently transporting employees to and from the New Albany Beauty Park for first shift employment. LGS Staffing along with United Way of Licking County is holding a job fair on Wednesday. Applicants can come to the UWLC offices at 50 South Second St., on the second floor in Newark, from 9:30 to 11 am. Those applying must have two valid forms of identification. Most people will be hired that day and start work the following day.
UWLC is currently working with companies and the faith-based community to provide nutritious lunches for those riding the bus. Anyone wanting to provide lunches or who may questions about the job fair can contact the United Way at 740-345-6685.
