  • Bucks County digital job board RecruitmentQueen is holding the Bucks County New Year Job Fair on Jan. 19. New for this year, TMA Bucks, in partnership with the Bucks County Transport, will offer free, round-trip Rush Bus shuttle service from the Walmart in Warminster and the Warminster Train Station to the career fair, which is being held at Spring Mill Manor in Northampton.   • The PennSuburban Chamber of Greater Montgomery County is partnering with NBC's "The Biggest Loser" for a community weight-loss challenge. The Biggest Loser Community Challenge starts in February. Teams of four are invited to join the eight-week, online health and wellness challenge. The program costs $100 for a team of four. Past Biggest Loser contestants will guide teams through eight weekly challenges. Participants will earn points for each minute of activity they engage in, as well as additional points for completing weekly tasks and logging additional challenge activities designed to improve nutrition and overall wellness.   • Giant Food Stores opened its new Beer Garden and Eatery in its store located in Logan Square in New Hope. The Beer Garden and Eatery seats 32 and is open daily, providing a vast selection of domestic and imported beers with an emphasis on craft and specialty beers. This location marks the 16th Giant store to sell beer in Pennsylvania.
  • Lower Southampton Township Manager John McMenamin will be the featured speaker for the Feasterville Business Association's networking and general membership meeting at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 6 at Brookside Manor at Somerton Springs, 50 Bustleton Pike, Feasterville. McMenamin will discuss the state of the township and the outlook for 2016. Cost for the meeting and buffet dinner is $25 per person.
