Aransas Pass Chamber offers Jan. 21 job fair - Aransas Pass Progress
The Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce and Aransas Pass Progress are partnering to offer a community job fair Jan. 21, 2016, at the Aransas Pass Civic Center.
The event will be held 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Area businesses that are currently recruiting or hiring are invited to participate. Booth spaces cost $75 for 8' x 10' or $125 for 16' x 10'.
APCOC CEO Rosemary Vega said this event is the perfect opportunity for employers to share information about job and careers available within their organization. The event was planned at the request of current business members of the Chamber, who are hopeful for new networking and recruiting opportunities in the community.
Attendees seeking employment are encouraged to bring a current resume and will have face-time with hiring managers for area businesses currently seeking qualified staff.
Businesses interested in participating can contact the Chamber at 361-758-2750. Additional promotion is available to job fair participants via the Chamber's social media outlets and the Progress and Index newspapers for an additional $75 fee.
