Goodwill Career Solutions hosts job fair at Portland library to fill 300 positions - WKRN.com
PORTLAND, Tenn. (WKRN) – Goodwill Career Solutions is hosting a job fair at the Portland Public Library on Tuesday.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at 301 Portland Boulevard.
At least nine employers will be participating in the job fair in an effort to fill more than 300 jobs in Portland and surrounding areas.
Employers participating include All-Star Personnel, ATA Retail Services, Macy's Logistics, Metro Industrial, Omnisource, Peoplelink Staffing, Tractor Supply, White Staffing and Workforce Strategies.
Officials said openings include warehouse, assembly, material handling, quality inspection, clerical and machine operation, among others.
Pay ranges from $8.50 to $13 per hour.
Representatives from each of the companies will be on site and on-the-spot interviews are possible.
Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally, as well as bring a resume, photo ID and social security card or birth certificate.
