Job fair coming Sept. 10 at Ontario Convention Center - Inland Valley Daily Bulletin

ONTARIO >> There's still time for employers looking for employees to register for a job fair Sept. 10, adding more opportunities for job-seekers to land a job.

The job fair, which last year attracted 400 job-seekers vying for 1,000 offers, will be from 9 a.m. at the Ontario Convention Center on 2000 E. Convention Center Way.

Jobs offered last year were in industries including warehousing, manufacturing, technology, health care, education, construction and hospitality, according to a news release from the San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board, which is hosting the job fair.

"It is our priority to connect employers and job-seekers in San Bernardino County to create more opportunity for our residents and businesses to thrive," county Board of Supervisors Chairman James Ramos said in the release. "Our vision for this county includes facilitating access to prosperity for all who choose to reside here and enjoy the county's unique advantages."

Employers can register for a free booth by Sept. 8 at this link.

Job-seekers can get priority entrance at 8 a.m. by visiting America's Job Center of California, 9650 E. Ninth St., Rancho Cucamonga, or calling 800-451-5627.
