St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES hosting teaching assistant and substitute job fair Aug. 6 in Canton - North Country Now

CANTON -- St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES will host a teaching assistant and substitute job fair on Monday, Aug. 6, at its Educational Services Center in Canton from 12:30-3 p.m.

Currently there is a shortage of certified teaching assistants, and the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES hopes to encourage qualified people to begin their career in education as a certified teaching assistant.

Anyone interested in entering the teaching assistant profession is encouraged to attend. Certification experts will be available to explain how to become a certified teaching assistant and help individuals begin the application process.
