A job fair with a different approach. Hilliard City Schools and Dawson Careers have partnered to put on an event geared not just toward students. It's for their parents also. And it's about education, not job placement.

The career fair will have 24 businesses and six colleges. Dawson believes a lot of job seekers don't know about careers or companies based in central Ohio.

"Rather than making this kind of an interview, we want them to go around and to search and to understand and let them be aware," said Dawson Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Also, this fair is focused on students and parents. They want parents to be engaged in their children's future, and they also want to help them with careers.

"How great would it be if we could impact an entire family," said Backiewicz.

The career fair is Wednesday, February 28 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Hilliard Darby High School. For more information, click here.
