KnoxWorx to host free job fair, career consulting - WVLT

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- KnoxWorx is teaming up with area churches to host a community job fair on January 31 at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.

Human resource professionals will be on hand to give one-on-one career advice to area job seekers.

"Our goal is to give individuals a leg up to take their career search to the next level," said Tim Waldo, Knoxville Leadership Foundation's Director of KnoxWorx.

Over 50 employers will be on hand to accept resumes and answer questions at the event.

The last KnoxWorx Fair served 400 people with 25% of attendees reporting that they interviewed for multiple jobs.
