San Clemente Outlets job fair seeks to fill 865 spots - OCRegister
Retailers and restaurants aiming to open this fall in the Outlets at San Clemente will try to match up with people seeking employment this weekend.
About 865 positions are said to be available in food service, restaurant management, retail sales and retail management. In addition, the Outlets at San Clemente is hiring 35 custodial, security, parking and maintenance jobs.
The Dorothy Visser Senior Center, 117 Avenida Victoria, will host the job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. A job fair held Sept. 17 drew 500 to 600 people, the outlet mall reported.
The first phase of the outlet center is preparing to open Nov. 12 along the ocean side of I-5 between the Avenida Vista Hermosa and Avenida Pico exits.
Full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs are available, the outlet center said in a news release.
Companies participating in the job fair include Aerosoles, Asics, Auntie Anne's, G.H. Bass & Co., Bowl of Heaven, Calvin Klein, Carter's/OshKosh B'gosh, Chico's, Cole Haan, Columbia Sportswear, Converse, Eddie Bauer, Guess Factory Store, H&M, Hanes Brands, Levi's, Loft, New Balance, Nike, Nine West, Panera Bread, Papaya, Perfumania, Planet Beauty, Puma, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Skechers, Starbucks, Sun Diego, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tilly's, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Van Heusen and White House / Black Market.
