MAU holding job fair to fill BMW openings - Greenville News

The automaker is seeking to fill production associate and forklift operator positions.

A job fair Monday in Greenville will seek to fill production associate and forklift operator positions for BMW Manufacturing Co.

The job fair will be hosted by MAU Workforce Solutions, the Georgia-based staffing and recruiting company used by BMW to hire contract workers.

The company's job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SC Works in McAlister Square, 225 S. Pleasantburg Drive.

Those interested in applying for the available BMW jobs must have had a stable work history for at least one year. Applicants must also submit to a background check and a drug screen, MAU said.

Persons hired for either the forklift or production associate positions can earn $15 to $16 an hour.

The positions also come with BlueCross BlueShield health coverage, which includes major medical, dental and vision benefits.

Additional benefits include 60 hours of paid vacation, up to 13 hours of paid holidays, 401(k) and life insurance, MAU said.

Interested applicants are encouraged to apply online prior to arriving at the job fair at www.mau.com/bmwjobs.
