Annual job fair set for June 30 - The Star-Ledger

The fifth annual NJ/PA Job Fair is set for Monday, June 30 at the Washington Crossing Church, 1895 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing, Pa. Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Attendees can meet face-to-face with representatives from local businesses and national corporations who are looking to fill full-time and part-time positions. Last year, the NJ/PA Job Fair attracted over five hundred job seekers and hosted over forty companies
.
This free community event is sponsored by Washington Crossing United Methodist Church. "Our main objective is to find jobs for those unemployed in our communities, as well as encourage, support and care for them in their quest to find work in tough economic times," says Pastor of Outreach Pierre Eade.

In addition to interviewing with companies and recruiters, job seekers can sign-up to attend a ten week support group with educational talks. "We want to extend the highest level of respect, personal care, and hospitality to everyone who comes to the job fair", says Wayne Dovan, this year's Executive Director of the event and lay member of the church. Job seekers will have the opportunity to enroll in a support group and volunteers will be available on the day of the event to provide free one-on-one coaching, take free headshots, to listen, pray and offer assistance.

Last year's event include 42 businesses, recruiting agencies and service providers.
Both job seekers and employers must pre-register online at njpajobfair.com.
