ST. JOSEPH, Mo.

The Home Depot is is holding a job fair to fill 40 openings at its store in St. Joseph.

This is part of a nationwide effort to hire 80,000 workers for the busy spring selling season.

Positions include lot, cashier, freight and sales.

The job fair will take place on Tuesday, March 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the store on N. Belt Highway.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online prior to attending the hiring event, but walk-ins are welcome.
