Dane County Job Fair on March 1 features Sun Prairie shuttle - HNGnews.com

The Dane County Regional Job Fair will take place on March 1 from 12-5 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center.

More than 170 businesses will be there with thousands of jobs in dozens of industries.

Free shuttle service is available from the Dane County Job Center and Sun Prairie. The shuttle departs from the Wal-Mart Parking Lot located at 1905 McCoy Rd. at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., arrives at the fair at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and departs again for Sun Prairie at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (see attached flyer for details). The shuttle is sponsored by Sun Prairie-based Kobussen Buses Ltd.

Job Center staff will be on site to review resumes, practice interviewing, and point potential applicants towards their next careers.

The job seeker prep area opens at 10 a.m.; applicants are encouraged to arrive early to make the most of the job fair.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Thousands of job seekers have flooded to the Montgomery Regional Job Fair at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery. This is a chance for those looking for work or a new job to meet more than 120 prospective employers. There are currently around 1,800 job openings throughout the River Region. Most of them, however, are in Montgomery. Dawn Ward, of Union Springs, decided to join the workforce after some time off. "I like to work. I like to be around people," said Ward.
