Job fair set for June 30 in Smyrna - The Daily News Journal
NASHVILLE – A Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development job fair will be Tuesday, June 30, at LifePoint Church, state Rep. Dawn White, R-Murfreesboro, said in a press release.
The hiring event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church located at 506 Legacy Drive in Smyrna. Participants are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and dress professionally, the release stated.
"Rutherford County is privileged to be home to numerous employers eagerly seeking new applicants. I am excited to help provide an opportunity for local employers to meet face to face with potential employees," said White in the release.
The event will feature employers actively hiring for job opportunities at many different skill and experience levels. In addition, the Career Coach, which serves as a mobile career center and features a computer lab to aid job seekers in their search, will be on site, the release stated.
