50 companies to be at Leominster job fair - Worcester Telegram

LEOMINSTER- More than 50 companies are planning to participate in the North Central Career Center's Summer Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, July 23, at the Doubletree Hotel, 99 Erdman Way. The Career Center estimates there will be well over 100 jobs posted and many more opportunities among the companies attending.

To help job seekers prepare to meet employers, the Career Center is offering a Preparing for a Job Fair workshop in its Leominster and Gardner locations. Call (978) 534-1481 for more information and to register for the workshops and job fair.

The fair is free for job seekers; $50 for employers.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Thousands of job seekers have flooded to the Montgomery Regional Job Fair at the Cramton Bowl Multiplex in Montgomery. This is a chance for those looking for work or a new job to meet more than 120 prospective employers. There are currently around 1,800 job openings throughout the River Region. Most of them, however, are in Montgomery. Dawn Ward, of Union Springs, decided to join the workforce after some time off. "I like to work. I like to be around people," said Ward. Ward admitted that taking the first step was a bit nerve-wracking because it's been six years since she's had a full-time job with benefits.
