One-Stop Transportation Job Fair - WTSP 10 News

Tampa, Fla. – (March 24, 2015) – Make a difference in the life of a child by becoming a Hillsborough County school bus driver. On Monday, March 30, the Transportation Department will host a one-stop job fair.

The job fair will be from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at CareerSource Tampa Bay, 9215 N. Florida Avenue, Suite 101, Tampa.

Applicants can fast track through the interviewing and hiring process by filling out an applicant profile at http://ift.tt/19nV3tx.

There is no experience necessary and CDL (Commercial Driver's License) instruction and paid training is provided. Job applicants will be given the opportunity at the job fair to ask questions about becoming a bus driver, including job requirements, hours, pay, benefits, etc.

Some applicants may leave the job fair with a contingency letter of employment, pending fingerprinting and physicals.

Hillsborough County school bus drivers enjoy flexible hours, school calendar vacation schedule, and paid federal holidays in addition to the state-sponsored retirement program.
