Job Fair in Rochester - 13WHAM-TV

A job fair is being held in Rochester for businesses opening in College Town, located at the corner of Elmwood and Mt. Hope Avenues.

The 14-acre site, owned by the University of Rochester, will include a mix of retail, dining, lodging and services.

Nearly 500 permanent jobs are expected to be created or retained at College Town.

Employers that will be on-site include: Barnes & Noble; Saxby's Coffee; Insomnia Cookies; Hairzoo; Jimmy Johns; Canandaigua National Bank; Constantino's Market; the Hilton Garden Inn and many others.

The College Town Rochester Job Fair will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday , July 8, at the Staybridge Suites Rochester University Hotel , 1000 Genesee Street.

Attendees should be at least 16 years old and are encouraged to bring copies of their resume, along with a pen and a notebook.
