The event, sponsored by the state Department of Labor, takes place Wednesday inside the Pratt & Whitney football stadium and Rentschler Field in East Hartford. The company says it will eventually employ 13,000 at its liquid crystal display panel manufacturing facilit y in Mount Pleasant.
